General Messaging
Pipeline construction of the Mountain Valley Pipeline, and the fight to stop the MVP, is far from over. The pipeline will never be built. We are fighting for more than just an end to this pipeline, but for a better world.
Stand in solidarity with people in Appalachia who are facing are facing increased state repression in the fight against the Mountain Valley Pipeline, specifically those taking direct action against the pipeline. Both the company and local law enforcement are coming after people who are trying to stop this doomed project.
The MVP is currently being built across Peters Mtn (Jefferson National Forest), a place that has been the site of fierce resistance to the pipeline and is a place many people in the community care deeply about. Appalachians Against Pipelines and the direct action campaign against the MVP started on that same mountain in 2018.
Fight back with other land defense movements who are also facing increased political repression. It has almost been one year since the murder of Tortuguita in Atlanta during the Stop Cop City Weelaunee Forest occupation. People are facing domestic terrorism and RICO charges for taking a stand against Cop City. And years after Standing Rock, people are continuing to endure state repression with subpoenas being issued recently.

Pipeline fighters have been taking direct action to stop the Mountain Valley Pipeline for years. Now congress has passed a law to fast track the MVP through the hills and hollers of Appalachia. The fight is not over! MVP still has to cross the National Forest and hundreds of waterways. We're going to stop them, and we need your help!

Now that @FERC has given MVP approval to start construction anywhere along the pipeline route, through the hills and hollers of Appalachia. Get involved and join the resistance! www.aapsolidarity.org
This is an action alert.
If you’ve been following the fight against the Mountain Valley Pipeline, you know that our comrades at Appalachians Against Pipelines have been resisting the pipeline with direct action for years. That includes the longest tree sit East of the Mississippi — almost three years.
As you’ve probably heard, President Biden and Senator Joe Manchin recently conspired to force the approval of the pipeline’s final permits. AAP is urging everyone to come to Appalachia to join the fight as soon as you can.
They want you to believe that the pipeline is a done deal, but we know better. There are 600 water crossings left and many thousands of us ready to resist.
Everyone is needed, and all roles and abilities are welcome - whether this is your first time taking action, or you’re a member of an affinity group with lots of experience. Please come fight to stop the MVP, as soon as possible.
See you on the pipeline route,
